Active tuberculosis and lung cancer: a 6-year retrospective study
Conclusions: TB and LC share clinical and radiological features which can be misleading and pose diagnostic challenges. Due to the high mortality rate associated with LC it is of the utmost importance to exclude this disease at the time of TB diagnosis since in our study most of the cases of TB and LC were diagnosed concurrently.
