Hydroalcoholic extract of Cuscuta epithymum enhances pentobarbital-induced sleep: possible involvement of GABAergic system.

CONCLUSION: The results of the present study indicate the HAE and NHF has significant sedative-hypnotic effects in mice without major toxic effect and that the benzodiazepine receptors are involved in the sedative-hypnotic effects of this plant. PMID: 30394211 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
