Researchers Reprogram Cells In Vivo to Restore Vision in Mice
Researchers recently succeeded in partially restoring vision in mice with congenital blindness through the activation of retinal stem cells, developing a method that could transform treatment for patients with retinal degenerative diseases that currently have no cure. The advance relies on manipulating the body ’s own regenerative capability to self-repair.
