Learn and Earn! LactMed and LiverTox

Join us Wednesday – November 28, 2018 from 1-2pm MST for NNLM Resource Picks. You will learn about the drug toxicity resources LactMed and LiverTox and earn 1 MLA CE. This live session will include an overview and search demonstrations for each database. LactMed contains information on drugs, dietary supplements, and other chemicals to which breastfeeding mothers might be exposed. It includes information on the levels of those substances in breast milk and infant blood, as well as possible adverse effects in a nursing infant. LiverTox provides information about drug induced liver injury caused by prescription and nonprescription drugs, herbals and dietary supplements.
