Apelin-13 Administration Protects Against LPS-Induced Acute Lung Injury by Inhibiting NF- κB Pathway and NLRP3 Inflammasome Activation

Conclusion: Taken together, these data suggest that apelin-13 administration ameliorates LPS-induced acute lung injury by suppressing ROS formation, as well as by inhibiting the NF- κB pathway and the activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome in the lungs.Cell Physiol Biochem 2018;49:1918 –1932
