Conventional and combination topical photodynamic therapy for basal cell carcinoma: systematic review and meta-analysis.
CONCLUSIONS: PDT is an effective treatment for low-risk BCC, with excellent cosmesis and safety. Imiquimod has higher efficacy than single-cycle PDT though more adverse effects.
