Risk factors for post ‐treatment complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) – an analysis of 647 cases of CRPS from the Danish Patient Compensation Association
ConclusionsFemale gender, surgical treatment and treatment to the upper limb were risk factors. Elective surgery accounted for a large number of post‐treatment CRPS patients. In CTS patients developing CRPS a normal neurophysiological examination was common, it could be suspected these patients suffer from CRPS in early phase and not CTS.This article is protected by copyright.
