The use of intraoperative epiaortic ultrasonography in monitoring patients over 75 years old treated with aortic valve replacement.

CONCLUSIONS: Epiaortic ultrasound scanning imaging is superior to TTE and manual palpation in the detection and localization of ascending atherosclerosis.
