Call for Submissions: High Quality Educational Materials That Could Be Developed Into Peer-Reviewed MedEdPORTAL Publications The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), in support of the AAMC/AACN Life Long Learning in Interprofessional Education initiative, is soliciting MedEdPORTAL/IPE portal resources that address the specific needs for teaching healthcare quality improvement and patient safety to learners from all health professions and across the educational continuum. AAMC & AACN will award four $2,500 awards in a competition for high quality educational materials that could be developed into peer-reviewed MedEdPORTAL Publications. Eligible submissions will follow the IPE QI/PS curriculum development process. Submissions will be evaluated based on their adherence to the curriculum design process; applicability to interprofessional learners; focus on quality improvement and/or patient safety; and plans for dissemination. This call will result in credible, peer-reviewed instructional materials for educators, administrators, and students in health professions.
