Relationships between arterial stiffness and bone mineral density in postmenopausal women

Background: Although osteoporosis and Cardiovascular disease have always been considered as separate entities, there is accumulated evidence that they have several pathological mechanisms in common. However, little research has been conducted to examine the relationship between arterial stiffness and bone mineral density (BMD) in post-menopausal women.
