Call for Applications: Epilepsy Research Recognition Awards Program The AES is pleased to announce the call for applications for the annual Epilepsy Research Recognition Awards Program. This is a public recognition program designed to encourage and reward clinical and basic science investigators whose research contributes importantly to understanding and conquering epilepsy. Funds for the program have been generously provided by the American Epilepsy Society. The American Epilepsy Society is one of the oldest neurological professional organizations in the United States. The Society seeks to promote interdisciplinary communication, scientific investigation, and exchange of clinical information about epilepsy. Membership consists of clinicians, scientists investigating basic and clinical aspects of epilepsy, and other professionals interested in seizure disorders. The Society holds an Annual Meeting which features symposia, lectures, poster presentations, and exhibitions. This meeting offers members a forum for communicating and disseminating current findings in the field of epilepsy. The meeting attracts over 4,500 professionals and offers excellent opportunities for networking and sharing of ideas. Awards There will be two awards given in the amount of $10,000 each.
