Long-term Outcomes of Parkinson's Disease Patients with Normal Cognition. (P5.260)

Conclusion:More than one-third of PD patients with NC develop cognitive impairment within 4 years, and the majority of new MCI cases convert to dementia within 3 years. Worse executive, language and memory abilities all predict future decline. These results are consistent with previous studies reporting that the overwhelming majority of PD patients develop cognitive impairment long-term, and have implications for understanding disease course and clinical care.Disclosure: Dr. Pigott has nothing to disclose.
