Left ventricular metastasis of soft tissue sarcoma causing heart failure: presentation of two cases
Primary cardiac tumours are a rare entity with an incidence of less than 0,1%. Metastatic cardiac tumours, on the other hand, are more common. [1] Soft-tissue sarcoma (STS) is a rare malignancy [2] with common secondary heart involvement. According to an autopsy study, cardiac metastases were found in 25% of patients. [3] However, clinically recognised metastases to the left ventricle are rare with isolated case reports in the literature. [4].
