American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine Research Scholars Program AAHPM Research Scholars Program to attend the 2014 Kathleen Foley Palliative Care Retreat October 21-23, 2014 at Montage Deer Valley in Park City, Utah Consistent with its strategic goal of promoting evidence-based research by supporting increased funding for research and training and providing opportunities for networking and knowledge transfer among researchers, AAHPM offers the Research Scholars Program which facilitates participation for U.S. based AAHPM members to attend the Annual Kathleen M. Foley Palliative Care Retreat and Research Symposium of the National Palliative Care Research Center (NPCRC), co-sponsored by the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA), American Cancer Society (ACS) and AAHPM. AAHPM is now accepting applications from its members. The 2014 event will be held October 21-23, 2014 at Montage Deer Valley in Park City, Utah. Also participating in the Retreat are HPNA Scholars, recipients of National Palliative Care Research Center Pilot/Exploratory Grants and Career Development Awards and recipients of American Cancer Society Palliative Care Pilot/Exploratory Grant Awards.
