Household Secondhand Smoke Exposure Confers Higher Stroke Risk and Poorer Stroke Prognosis (S42.005)

CONCLUSIONS: Household SHS is associated with a 1.5-fold increase in stroke risk and a 2-fold increase in mortality after stroke among never-smokers.
