Retrospective Dosimetry for Yttrium-90 Radioembolization with Resin Microspheres

The series of 3 articles entitled, “Predictive Dosimetry and Outcomes of Hepatocellular Carcinoma Following Liver Y90 Resin Microsphere Radioembolization Using 99mTc-MAA SPECT/CT and Planning Software: A Retrospective Analysis,” (1) “Partition Dosimetry and Outcomes of Metastatic Neuroendocrine Tumors Following Yttrium-90 Resin Microsphere Radioembolization,” (2) and “Predictive Partition Dosimetry and Outcomes after Yttrium-90 Resin Microsphere Radioembolization of Colorectal Cancer Metastatic to the Liver: A Retrospective Analysis,” (3) published in this and a previous issue of JVIR reports retrospective dosimetry for yttrium-90 (90Y) radioembolization with Sir-Spheres (Sirtex Medical, Woburn, Massachusetts) in 3 common indications for radioembolization, namely, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), metastatic neuroendocrine tumors (NET), and metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC).
