Palliative Care Consults May Reduce Readmission Rates: A Comparison Cohort Study in a Southeastern Academic Center

1. Upon review of the findings, participants will be able to characterize palliative care consultation utilization in a southeastern, academic medical center in a post-pandemic environment.2. Participants will be able to implement similar techniques in analyzing palliative care consultation utilization at other facilities, controlling for similar pathologies, to describe how palliative care consultations affect patient length of stays and readmission rates.
