Predictive analysis of severe hypocalcemia following total parathyroidectomy for renal secondary hyperparathyroidism

CONCLUSIONS: Younger patients with renal SHPT who have elevated preoperative iPTH and ALP levels are at an increased risk of experiencing severe hypocalcemia following TPTX.
