Incorporating Donor Variables Improves Accuracy of One-Year Post-Transplant Survival Prediction for Adult Heart Transplant Recipients

Purpose: Post-transplant survival is a component of the proposed continuous distribution framework for donor heart allocation in the United States. Predictive models for post-transplant survival using donor variables have not been developed since the 2018 donor heart allocation policy change.
