Association of ECMO Flow Index and Mortality in Adults with Cardiogenic Shock Receiving Venoarterial Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation: An ELSO Registry Analysis

Purpose: The aim of the study was to determine whether the initial ECMO flow rate is associated with mortality in adults with cardiogenic shock (CS) receiving venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VA-ECMO) without concomitant left ventricular mechanical unloading (LVMU).
