Fat-Soluble Vitamin Levels in Supplemented versus Non-Supplemented Individuals with Cystic Fibrosis Following Lung Transplantation

Purpose: Cystic Fibrosis (CF) patients are routinely supplemented with fat soluble vitamins (FSV ’s). However, there is some signal that in patients with CF who receive a lung transplant (LT), levels can rise above reference range. Current guidelines recommend stopping combination FSV’s after LT. We sought to compare the effect of stopping FSV supplementation after LT in patients with CF co mpared to previous practice.
