Impact of MTOR Inhibitors on Heart Allograft Rejection Using Tissue-Based Gene-Expression Profiling. Molecular Microscope (MMDx) Results
Purpose: mTOR inhibitors have been traditionally used as second line immunosupressants, but their use has been hindered by a higher risk of rejection. We aimed to evaluate the association between mTOR use and rejection outcomes utilizing the MMDx, and further provide a description of the associated gene-expression transcripts.
