Prognostic Significance of Positive Vasoreactivity Test in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension is Affected by Age
Purpose: A positive vasoreactivity test (VRt) is used for treatment selection and considered an indicator of good prognosis in patients with idiopathic, hereditary, and drug-associated pulmonary arterial hypertension (IPAH/HPAH/DPAH). However, its reliability across ages is unknown. We investigated hemodynamics, risk status, treatment patterns, and transplantation-free (TF) survival in patients with a positive VRt by age.
