Clinicopathological characteristics and gene mutations in 11 patients with lipoprotein glomerulopathy
CONCLUSION: LPG is histologically characterized by lamellated lipoprotein thrombi in glomeruli, and kidney biopsy is essential for diagnosis. Mutations in the APOE gene are the leading cause of LPG.
