Risk factors for mortality in children with hemorrhagic cystitis after hematopoietic transplant: Correspondence
We would like to share ideas on “Risk factors for mortality in children with hemorrhagic cystitis after hematopoietic transplant [1].” In order to identify patients with hematopoietic transplants and diseases related to hematuria, this study reviewed data from the Pediatric Health Information System database. The findings demo nstrated a statistically significant increased risk of death for patients undergoing genitourinary operations or bladder instillations. Furthermore, higher death rates were linked to variables such intravenous cidofovir, genitourinary morbidity, and dialysis.
