Childhood adverse experiences and clinical manifestations in women with systemic lupus erythematosus

CONCLUSION: Individuals with a positive history of ACE have significant associations with certain clinical manifestations of SLE and subtypes of ACE, underscoring the importance of preventing childhood trauma to improve adult health.
