Serotonergic neurotransmission mediated cognitive dysfunction in two mouse models of sepsis-associated encephalopathy

CONCLUSIONS: Our study demonstrated that serotonergic neurotransmission plays a significant role in mechanisms underlying cognitive impairment in SAE.
