Maternal and child life years gained by transfusing low titer group O whole blood in trauma: A computer simulation
CONCLUSION: In this model, RhD-positive LTOWB resulted in substantial gains in maternal and child life years compared with CCT. A >0.1% relative mortality reduction from LTOWB offset the life years lost to HDFN mortality and severe neurological events.PMID:38404198 | DOI:10.1111/trf.17767
