Cefepime vs Piperacillin-Tazobactam for Acute Infection in Hospitalized Adults

To the Editor A recent randomized clinical trial reported that among adults hospitalized with acute infection, patients treated with cefepime had similar incidence of acute kidney injury as those treated with piperacillin-tazobactam and more neurological dysfunction. We have some concerns about this study.
