Pembrolizumab-Induced Liver Injury: Beyond Immune-Mediated Hepatitis
Question: A 43-year-old man was referred to the liver unit from the oncology department. A year before, he was diagnosed with well differentiated pT4 laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and underwent a total laryngectomy. Treatment with pembrolizumab every 3 weeks also started, which he was still receiving. He had neither a pre-existing liver condition nor excessive alcohol consumption.
