Outcomes of Matched Unrelated and Haploidentical Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation in Aplastic Anemia: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Immunosuppressive therapy and matched-related allogenic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HCT) are considered standard treatment for severe aplastic anemia (AA). When a fully matched sibling donor (MSD) is unavailable, a matched unrelated donor (MUD) or haploidentical HCT is an alternative approach. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to explore the outcomes of MUD or haploidentical HCT in severe AA.
