Warfarin Vs. Direct Oral Anticoagulants For Left Ventricle Thrombus Treatment
Left ventricular thrombus (LVT) is a feared complication of LV dysfunction associated with acute myocardial infarction (MI) and heart failure (HF). Currently warfarin is the standard of care for the treatment of LVT. Direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) are increasingly used as alternatives to warfarin for the treatment of LVT.
