Analysis of Atypical Antipsychotics-Induced Adverse Events Related to Diabetes Mellitus in Patients With Dementia Using the Japanese Adverse Drug Event Report Database
CONCLUSION AND RELEVANCE: The AAPs may cause DMAEs in patients with dementia. Low doses of quetiapine may induce DMAEs. Health care workers should focus on the development of DMAEs during the early administration period of AAPs.
