Embolization of arteriovenous malformations of head and neck: A systematic review

CONCLUSIONS: Our systematic review supports that endovascular embolization is an effective treatment option for cervicofacial AVMs. In our review, the use of Onyx and NBCA was associated with consistently high complete cure rates and a promising safety profile. However, more research is needed to investigate the use of different embolic agents in the treatment of cervicofacial AVMs.PMID:38105437 | DOI:10.1177/15910199231219823
