AIM2 participates in house dust mite (HDM)-induced epithelial dysfunctions and ovalbumin (OVA)-induced allergic asthma in infant mice

In conclusion, AIM2, up-regulated in severe pediatric allergic asthma, participates in HDM-induced epithelial dysfunctions and OVA-induced allergic asthma progression. Therefore, AIM2 could be a promising target for pediatric allergic asthma treatment regimens, which warrants further in vivo investigations.PMID:38078661 | DOI:10.1080/02770903.2023.2289157
