31. The Effects of a Reduced Dose of Botulinum Toxin A in the Management of Myofascial Pain

In our previous study we reported the statistically significant improvement in patients ’ pain scores, measured using visual analogue scale (VAS), for myofascial pain following injection of 50 units of botulinum toxin A (BtA). We have now completed a further study to compare the effectiveness of a reduced dose of BtA, of 25 units.
