News Three U.S. Representatives have introduced the WEAR IT Act, which would let Americans use money from Flexible Spending Accounts or Health Savings Accounts to pay for devices such as blood glucose and EKG monitors or sleep trackers. Hospitals serving marginalized communities are less likely to participate in interoperable patient data exchange, according to the latest ONC research. In particular, critical access hospitals are 16% less likely than other hospitals to engage in information exchange. Studies The annual Consumer Experience and Employee Experience reports from Qualtrics paint a contrasting picture of satisfaction with the healthcare system.
