Activation of the CD200/CD200R1 axis attenuates neuroinflammation and improves postoperative cognitive dysfunction via the PI3K/Akt/NF- κB signaling pathway in aged mice

ConclusionsOur findings indicate that the activation of the CD200/CD200R1 axis reduces neuroinflammation, synaptic deficits, and cognitive impairment in the hippocampus of aged mice by regulating microglial M1/M2 polarization via the PI3K/Akt/NF- κB signaling pathway.
