Conclusion: The Zn and Cu deficiency and Pb and Cd exposure were associated with abortion. Endocrine dysfunction, such as insulin resistance, vitamin D insufficiency, and abnormal thyroid and sex hormone concentrations, is supposed to have involved in heavy metals related abortion.
