Morbidity and severity of COVID-19 in patients with Parkinson's disease treated with amantadine

Background:After more than 2 years of the pandemic SARS-CoV-2, there is still a lack of a medications with satisfactory efficacy. Amantadine was hypothesized to be a potentially efefctive therapy. A retrospective, observational study was conducted to assess the incidence of COVID-19 in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) taking amantadine and those who did not.
