Effects of novel glucose-lowering drugs on the COVID-19 patients with diabetes: A network meta-analysis of clinical outcomes
ConclusionsAs revealed by the result of this study, SGLT2i is associated with the lower mortality rate in people with diabetes and COVID-19 among novel glucose-lowering drugs. And SGLT2i is linked to lower requiring mechanical ventilation. These findings can have a large impact on clinicians' decisions amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
