A Rare Case of Peripartum Cardiomyopathy Complicated by Renal and Splenic Infarcts

Peripartum cardiomyopathy (PPCM) is a major cause of maternal morbidity and mortality. Complications include heart failure, thromboembolic disease, and left ventricular (LV) thrombus. Common thromboembolic events include pulmonary and cerebral embolism, limb ischaemia, and myocardial infarction.
