AMPK activation improves recovery from pneumonia-induced lung injury via reduction of er-stress and apoptosis in alveolar epithelial cells
CONCLUSIONS: Our study provides important insights into AMPK function in the preservation of AEC viability after bacterial infection, in particular due reduction of ER-stress and apoptosis, thereby promoting effective recovery from lung injury after pneumonia.PMID:37438806 | DOI:10.1186/s12931-023-02483-6
