Clinical features of upper gastrointestinal endoscopy in 3146 patients: a 9-year retrospective cohort study in Zanzibar Archipelago, Tanzania
Conclusions: The present study revealed that gastro-duodenitis, PUD, and normal finding are the most common endoscopic diagnoses in Zanzibar. The presence of H. pylori is significantly associated with duodenal ulcer and gastric cancer.Keywords: Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy; HelicobacterPylori; Zanzibar.
