ConclusionMild HPP patients presenting with diffuse symptoms such as musculoskeletal pain may be undiagnosed or misdiagnosed as osteoporosis patients by routine diagnosis. It is important to identify these individuals, to avoid inappropriate treatment with antiresorptive drugs.
