High Phosphate Binding Capacity of Lanthanum Dioxycarbonate With a Low Medication Volume: Comparison With Commercially Available Phosphate Binders
CONCLUSIONS: Lanthanum dioxycarbonate has the lowest daily phosphate binder dose volume and the smallest volume required to bind 1 g of phosphate compared to all other commercially available phosphate binders. A randomized trial that compares gastrointestinal tolerability across binders would be warranted to demonstrate acceptability and adherence in the target population. .PMID:37231835 | DOI:10.1159/000530989
