Acute Outcomes of Cardiac Operations in Patients With Autoimmune Disorders: A National Analysis

DISCUSSION: Autoimmune connective tissue disease patients demonstrated acceptable outcomes following CABG and valve procedures. However, novel prophylactic care pathways should be developed and instituted to address greater thrombotic and blood transfusion risk.
