Abstract 246: Potential for Healthy Survivor Bias Among Symptomatic Peripheral Artery Disease Patients with Long Follow-up: Comparing 1 Year Versus 3 Year Post-Index Outcomes [Session Title: Poster Session II]

Conclusions: A comparative review of findings from these SPAD studies has revealed that the ‘healthy survivor’ bias may have led to an under-estimation of SPAD outcomes in the 1-year pre-/3-year post-index. A replication of the 1-year pre-/3-year post-index using a data source with mortality data is warranted.
