Echocardiographic hemodynamic assessment in decompensated cirrhosis: comparison between Intensivists and Gastroenterologists

Conclusion: Reliability of hemodynamic assessment by gastroenterologists was good, while agreement was unsatisfactory, advocating for further training. Transthoracic echocardiography can differentiate hypovolemia from hyperkinetic states.
