Job opportunities? Or death trap
As a brand new grad with 130k loans graduating in a pandemic would it be stupid to accept a job opportunity from an attending who is possibly hitting on you? Nothing aggressive or overly forward just politely letting you know '"I like you" which is still inappropriate to a student from an attending. But with the job market being what it is, is this ok? If maybe not for a job but a learning opportunity in a group with other students? He said he could bring me in with the group on my own... Job opportunities? Journal of Vascular Surgery article shaming women for "posting inappropriate content" on social media?
Doctors Post Bikini Photos To Protest Study That Calls Them Unprofessional Many medical pros felt that the research shamed female physicians who posted personal pictures on their social media accounts. www.huffpost.com Thoughts? My first thought is how did these professional reviewers and editors accept such a garbage manuscript? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Surviving early pregnancy
Hi! I was wondering if anyone had tips for surviving early pregnancy as a physician. I feel awful and just want to curl in a ball and sleep. I'm an attending and getting coverage is a challenge. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Gender impact in competitive fellowships
Not sure if it's a myth or truth. I have heard due to low % of women in certain competitive specialities like cardiology, GI and critical care, their societies are pushing for more gender parity in fellowship programs. Is it true that a male candidate should have better credentials (higher scores, more research) than a comparable female candidate to be considered for an interview/ranking? For eg, IMG/visa/community residency/women/no research >>> IMG/visa/community program/men/few... Gender impact in competitive fellowships (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Should I bypass a niche Masters for a PhD with little experience? Or is that ridiculous?
Folks, I'm trying to gauge whether to get a Masters of Couples & Family Therapy first — something I’m certain I’d love, but wouldn't provide as broad opportunities down the road — or whether to go directly for a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Your insights would be really appreciated. My interest in a psychology career developed post-understand. My Bachelors was in Women's and Gender Studies and Political Science. I did very well in school, 3.95 GPA, never took the GRE. I currently... Should I bypass a niche Masters for a PhD with little experience? Or is that ridiculous? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Need Help Finding Leadership or Not?
I just finished my sophomore year and I am worried as I don't have a lot of leadership. I applied for one club position, but didn't end up getting it. I am currently a leader in a campus ministry. I've been a leader for a year and will continue throughout the next 2 years. Basically, I lead a small group of 15 other college women each week, planning the topics/questions/etc. and I also meet with each freshmen in my small group a few of times throughout their first year to support them and... Dress code
Hey everyone! I am attending PT school in a month and I wanted to get some pants that were business casual looking but also were comfortable. Are there any jogger type pants (for women) that you recommend? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Just want to match.
Posting this on behalf of my GF who just received her step 1 score. These are her stats FMG, 2 pubs (ortho, derm), 1 abstract (women's health), <200 step 1, 2 years clinical experience in the USA, she has 1 LOR from an ortho and she's gonna get the rest over the next few months. Obviously we're trying to get a high step 2 score and she has another potential pub coming. Basically with the <200 she literally just wants to match, she'll take any residency she can get and I went through FREIDA... Just want to match. (Source: Student Doctor Network)
